After the hard and dedication, I put into English 101, I received the grade I was expecting. When Dr. Criswell asked English 101 to write an essay on what grade we expected to receive and how was we going to make that happen, I answered the question by saying “I am going to get an A in English 101, because I will put forth great effort in all my assignments.” There is no difference between the effort and the achievements in the course, I applied myself and was able to learn new writing techniques and new English grammar. My achievements in English 101 helped me also. I was instructed to write a formal paper in one of my other courses, with the material I learned in English 101 I was able to apply what I learned about writing formal
