Throughout this semester, I have learned about critical thinking and writing skills. Emphasizing on proper documentation, quoting books, articles, websites, and creating a work cited. With organization, punctuation, and appropriate grammar by learning how to read a document and analyze it correctly to find these errors. I have learned a lot about all these things, even though I still make mistakes in some of these I have learned to be able to correct a lot of these errors in revising.

Whether your writing is to come across in a happy, sad or, made tone, you want your audience to feel the emotion you put into your paper.
Editing and documenting was one of the major things I learned about thought out English 1A. I have had issues with spelling and proper punctuation. While attending this course I was able to observe my errors after seeing my mistakes has been able to help me. I have improved in some parts like sentence structure and proper punctuation. By learning that revising can catch most errors, I have been able to catch a lot of my mistakes and correct them throughout this class.
During this class, we focused a lot on MLA format when writing a paper. For example; using double spacing, size 12 font, having a header and page number on each page, including our last names, 1/2” margin of the header, and ½” indent at the beginning of each paragraph. Lastly, in English 1A I learned about proper documentation in MLA format called citing, giving your reader information about any sources that you cite in your paper. Citing would be documenting any website, book, and article that has been used to collect information for your paper. Your work cited would be found on the last page of the document, with the proper MLA
