Subject: Cover Letter
The concept of the context section in my literature review narrates the background of the study I am researching. The context section is composed of exactly 100 words, nothing more or less. My topic of study that I am researching is how parents’ divorce/separation affects adolescents’ development. As we all know, divorce hurts emotionally. Despite the pain side of emotionally going through divorce, there is also many other sides as well. The next part of my literature is the current research section. In this section I noted published research about my topic. The current research section is organized into categories known as sub-headings. These sub-headings are labeled: The Impact of Parents’ Divorce on Adolescents Development, The rate of divorce, Implications of divorce on adolescents, and Managing Divorce for Adolescents. Applying these sub-headings allows me to break up the general topic that I am researching into smaller logical parts. Under each sub-heading I provided information in relation to the main heading and also included many sources related to my research. This part of my literature review reflects so far what I have learned and conducted in my research so far. The last prompt of my literature review is the discussion. In my

The viewpoints presented in my literature review are based off the topic of divorce; Divorce can be hard for parents, teenagers, and older adults who experience their parents’ divorce as well. My source from Jane Gumbiner demonstrates divorce from a different viewpoint by not only focusing on the affect it has on children but adults as well. Also there are a lot of different aspects in which the topic of divorce can take effect
