1. What languages are used in the display tags? What is your impression of this?
The languages that are used in the display tags are English and Arabic; English in the naming of the objects, and both English and Arabic under the objects in the footnotes that describe something related to the object (historical/cultural background or any other type of information). I think these choices are quite reasonable because English is a universal language and it is an American university, but since not everyone is competent in English, it is convenient to provide Arabic and English footnotes.

It not only can help me, but it can help my friends, family, and future classmates if they need help with writing their essays. Even though I learned more about grammar, in text citations, and bettering my thesis statements, they still need some improvement.…

Throughout the entirety of this English 101 course, I have seen my skills as a writer grow. In the beginning of the school year, my writing fell short of my expectations, but as I continued to work and learn the principles of writing, I have written papers that I am proud to say are mine. Among the aspects of my writing I have improved, the best strives are seen within my my counter arguments and overall strength and coherency of my papers. To begin, when looking at a paper I wrote in August on necessity of first drafts, there were large gaps in my elaboration, bringing concerns as to whether I was arguing and proving a point or merely summarizing what Lamott, the author of the article, originally said. When attempting to argue my evidence, I stated,…

Translation Services: Considerations for Web Page Translation Research tells us that three-quarters of internet buyers are more likely to buy from a website if the content is presented in their own language. A Eurobarometer survey added that less than 20 percent of survey participants would frequent a site that is not in their own language and a whopping 42 percent said they would never make online purchases in a language that is not their own. Many business owners have addressed this issue through language translation apps that quickly convert the text from one language to any of a hundred others (or more) with the click of a button. These machine translation apps are convenient and cheap (many are even free), but do they elicit the desired…
