Brett and Jake love each other however since Jake can not have sex, they refuse to have a romantic relationship. Jake says that he finds his war wound funny and he rarely thinks about it. A Greek man finds interest in Brett and they make an appointment to meet the next day.

Jake does not see Brett and Cohn for a while. He receives a card from Brett, who is vacationing in San Sebastian.
