Sometimes an endometrial biopsy is done, endometrial biopsy is a test in which a sample of tissue from the lining of the uterus is taken and examined under a microscope for any abnormal cells or signs of cancer. Doctors also asked their patients for a hysterosalpingogram (HSG), this test is done to check for blockages in the fallopian tubes or other problem in the uterus and the fallopian tubes. Often, it is done as part of an infertility evaluation. It can also be done after a tubal ligation to confirm that they are fully blocked, after you have made a hysteroscopic procedure tubal occlusion to prevent pregnancy. Some women can feel some cramping. When more information is needed, they do a laparoscopy. Laparoscopy is required to confirm a diagnosis of Endometriosis. The procedure can take from 45 minutes to 5 hours, depending on the case and it is performed under general anesthesia. …show more content…

Sometimes doctor might suggest that the men and his partner consider using a donor sperm or adopting a child. There's a lot more treatments for women than for men. In some of the cases doctors can't identified the cause of infertility in a women. When the problem have to be with ovulation the treatment may include taking drugs, like Clomiphene to stimulate the ovaries. Sometimes technologies can be the solution to infertility like Insemination, In vitro Fertilization and gamete intrafallopian transfer, but the most common are Insemination and In vitro Fertilization. An embryo transfer can also be done in some cases when the sperm of a men have low quality. Some couples experience depression, stress, anxiety, low self-steem and uncertainty about the future.
