My fellow feminists [Pause and add as an afterthought] and misogynists, For many years, we, women, have been oppressed in this society by men. [Pause] For too many years, we have been suppressed in this patriarchy. Our voices and rights have been [Emphasize] stripped away from us, the patriarchy trampling over us, leaving in its wake a barren, desolate path of injustice and inequality. For too many years, we women have dealt with all the garbage that has been hurled our way, all the ignorance that has persisted when male legislators moronically and insensibly dealt with female rights, all the unnecessary trouble that came with obtaining rights that should inherently belong to us.
