In all three of my short stories people have a hard time accepting others and their differences. My first short story I will be talking about is Ender’s Game By Orson Scott. In this story people don’t accept Ender because he was born third in his family making him a third. He also has a chip in his neck that was put in there when he was born because having a third child where they’re from isn’t normal and is shun upon by the people. “Perhaps it's impossible to wear an identity without becoming what you pretend to be.” I believe that this quote really says a lot about Ender and how he had to grow up not being accepted by others, especially the kids at his school.
