Graff sat at his desk, looking fatter and wearier than the last time Ender had seen him. He seemed as if he had just devoured 4 children and was looking at a fifth. Ender took a few steps back just to be safe when he heard the door slam shut behind him. He whirled around and noticed that the door had a series of locks which began to interlock and soon created a steel door 2 feet wide. There was no exit out.
“Wh-What was that for?”, he asked.
“Oh don’t worry about that. That’s just there to make sure no one will be hearing our conversation. I’ll let you go as soon as we’re done talking. No need to be scared.”, replied Graff with a smile on his face. Graff began to lick his lips and drool had already flowed down to his neck and had begun to

His skin slowly darkened to a black color and his flesh tore exposing a leathery skin underneath. With a loud rip, two gigantic wings tore through his back and a crooked beak replaced his nose. Ender backed up into a corner and tried to think of a way out of the room. He looked to the ceiling and floor but found no way out. The walls were entirely bare and there wasn’t a window in sight. With nothing available, Ender had no choice but to stay put and pray that a miracle occur and somehow save his life. But there was no miracle. Graff, or whatever was left of him, got up and hovered in midair. His transformation had completed and a black, scaly, lizard like creature rested in front of his eyes. It looked straight at him and could smell his fear. He had just found his first meal. With a shriek and a bat of its wings, the creature scaled the room with ease and cornered Ender entirely. Without any hope left in his heart, Ender closed his eyes and waited for the creature to shred him into a million pieces. His mouth began to dry, and he began to sweat. Tears flowed down his cheeks and he remembered all the mistakes he had made in life. If only he could have had a second chance. Without hesitation, the creature lunged and that was when he woke
