“Serious games have become increasingly popular as an educational tool in schools, as a training device for professionals and as a means which may add entertainment to teaching and training, making the learning experience fun” (Katsaliaki and Mustafee, 2012). In other words, Katsilk and Mustafee assert that serious games are going behind the spectrum. Where games were just limited to fun and as a way for entertainment; however, that's no longer the case. Many institutions are now using serious gaming to educate their employees, students, and companies. Adding on to that, not many people in the US, are usually interested in knowing the politics of the country, and others don't even know how the white house is running. For an an example, maybe some students might not understand the ten amendment just by attending class; however, having this game, it’s a resource that best educate students; it is both beneficial to students and teachers as well. Thirdly, ICED- I can end Deportation game is the most creative and very interesting. The game is all about teaching players about the current laws of detention and deportations that affect all immigrants. It is focused more towards legal permanent residents, asylum seekers, students and undocumented people who violate the human right. For those who are not immigrants might not understand the problems and the struggles immigrants go through; but through this game, it will open up their understanding by being more considerant to others. Finally, Endgame: Syria examines the complexities of the Syrian civil war through card based gameplay. Played from the perspective of the Syrian rebels, each turn is divided into two phases, political and military. All these games are trying to help educate people about some of the issues we are facing
