Setting and characterization It was about 6 a.m. Saturday morning and it is an extremely beautiful morning; one of the mornings that makes you stop and realize just how amazing it is at that particular moment in the world. Everything from how nice the summer breeze felt on a freshly shaved face, how the cool water felt as it ran between the toes and bottom of your foot, the smell of fresh cut grass in air, the sounds, or lack of sound, that summer brings in when it is perfect outside. He was a Airforce Veteran who did two tours of duty in Kuwait before the age of 20. At 19 and ½ Ryan returned from military duty about 20 pounds heavier with the knowledge as well as ability to ruin someone’s day, but still had that same contagious laugh that he always had. At the house are Bryce, Chris, Dan, Megan and Carly as well as their friend Ryan. They are all in a very good mood and excited mood because it’s the last person in the groups 21st birthday! It was indeed Dan’s birthday the first one where he can “legally” be in a bar and consuming alcohol. Legally is in quotes because of the fact that Dan was the first and only one in the group that had a fake ID growing up so he was the first one of us all to do those things even though he was the youngest one in the
