“Wake up!” Ugh, I thought. “Let’s go eat breakfast!” Emunah exclaimed. “Fine” I said as I got up and headed for the kitchen. It was a gray rainy day outside and nothing was stirring. Emunah smiled as she strided in the kitchen after waking up my brother Dean. We were on vacation with my mom and all of my other siblings were at a sleepover with their best friends. “Today is going to be great” Emunah says as we sit down to eat. We all say good morning to Mom but she says nothing back. “Mom?” Dean says “Are you okay?” “It’s just that I have caught a cold in this weather. Go ahead and drink your orange juice, children.” Umm, okay she never calls us children. She is acting weird today. “Hey, where did Emunah go?” Dean questioned. “ I don’t know, …show more content…
“Nah, we’re taller than everything in this room. Of course we’ve shrunk, I think we noticed a while ago.” Dean gave me a look when he saw Emunah look down at her shoes. “I’m sorry Emunah, I’m just frightened in this situation that we're in. Let’s go explore outside.” We all head outside as we glance at how tall the grass is. The grass looks like trees and the trees look like green mountains. Dean puts Emunah on his shoulders so they can see above the trees. We camp in an area that has no grass and sigh. As soon as we begin to sit down we feel huge drops of water fall on our heads. “It’s pouring!” Dean says but Emunah corrects him by telling him that it was actually only sprinkling if they were at normal height. Dean just replies with a “Whatever.” Eventually, it actually begins to pour and the raindrops get as big as their heads. The siblings are forced to find shelter or they will struggle to breath. They look to bushes near their house that are good shelter for them. After a long walk in the rain they reach their destination. They find their shelter in a bush and right when they go under, the rain is very light. “Let’s make a camp out of the leaves!” So we all gather leaves but since they are so huge we had to have three work on one. Later, they have everything set up. they made a tent out of twigs covered with leaves, they made beds by taking huge leafs and folding them for their perfect …show more content…
She turns her head to the door. “Oh my G-nkahfvusbfkbidnkfov.” she tries to say but wasn’t able to for the attack of the creepy-crawlies and they were crawling over her. We were cheering loudly like we were at a football game. Soon, the spiders and worms cleared up so we could see the woman, looking more horrible than ever. “You came back!” we shouted. We see Arachni crawling up to us. He crawls up and unlocks the cage. “Get our parents too!” I say happily. Arachni and friends go to make a web for me and my family to get out of the cages. After a while of climbing, we reach all the way down. “Let’s drink the juice.” I say cheerfully. “You guys go ahead, I want to do something.” Dean says as he walks off. “Well, c’mon Emunah. Cheers!” I walk over to the I close my eyes and took a sip. I open my eyes and the table is way

In the novel, Fahrenheit 451, by Ray Bradbury, Montag, the book-saver, tried to escape the world of the overwhelming technology. Social activities were replaced by inane TV shows where clowns tear their limbs apart, families are replaced by the “family” on the television, and where thoughts are stopped by deafening TV commercials. Bradbury’s vision of today seems to be precise seeing that people started to care less about each other, people stop thinking due to the overload of technological advances and TV screens replace books. “‘Henry, open up the iPad for Jenny, she’s been crying a lot lately. Keep her quiet for just an hour, I need to finish up this work.’…
