Empress Theodora In Milton Meltzer's Elizabeth I

In the information article titled Elizabeth I by Milton Meltzer discusses how Elizabeth became queen and how she brought england back to a prosperity. By the time she was two, she had no stability. Both Empress Theodora and Elizabeth I made many changes during their reigns that impacted their citizens. First, Theodora states that she used her power to help improve living conditions for her people. The Empress persuaded them not to flee to the shame of safety but to fight with coverage to death. (almanac 6) She seemed to be a cheerful and daring because she stopped Justinian from leaving. The text says she convinced Justinian to stay and fight. She actually stopped people from doing things that weren't smart.
