There are needs everywhere, but sometimes it is difficult to know where to start. If you have decided to become a volunteer, choose an organization meaningful to you as there are many opportunities for volunteering in a wide range of sectors including, education, social and legal services, arts and culture, health services, environmental advocacy, to name a few. In some areas such as education, emergency rescue or medicine, special training has been provided to the volunteers. There are many people who also provide voluntary services overseas.
It is advised to seek out the organization that suits your talents or skills. People who associate with their volunteering on a deeper level and have relevant knowledge and expertise can have a greater impact on their work. If you have a very hectic schedule, volunteer your time for an hour a week or two or a month. Then, if you find it fulfilling and have more time to practise it, gradually take on
