He slid his hat further down his face as he slunk down the ledge, closer to the door. He stepped lightly, wincing as his heel clicked. If he made too much noise they would investigate. And when the crew discovered he lacked a pass, he'd be gone. He cracked the door open and slipped inside. The room, as he'd hoped, was full of large boxes, all cargo being delivered. He snuck around, finally settling behind a taller stack. He sat down, not realizing how cold and tired he was until the weight came off his feel. “What were ye doing back there, eh? Not a stowaway are ye?”

He shook his head, his eyes wide. He started blabbering in his native tongue until the crew member seemed irritated enough. The man finally rolled his eyes and waved him off. He grinned as he joined the other passengers. His plan had been successful.

When they were were all off, he found himself in a large building. There were people, more even than had been on the boat. He wondered if they were all like him. Coming to America to be safe. Romanticism vs. Realism Romanticism and Realism are entirely different. Romanticism is a movement that dominated literary, visual, and musical arts. It does not contribute to romance, it's main focus is ¨depicting emotional matter in imaginative form¨. Realism focus on ordinary people and their daily lives rather than supernatural, nationalism, heroism, and strange and faraway places, themes that characteristic the Romanticism literature. Romanticism and Realism are perfectly opposite each other like in ¨Masque of the Red Death¨ by Edgar Allen Poe,which is Romanticism and ¨To Build a Fire¨ by Jack London which is Realism. The main purpose of this essay is to prove the differences between the two gernes by comparing and contrasting the Plot,Characters, and Presentation of good and evil.…

New Orleans was crime bound at this time at night, people were constantly missing, gunshots constantly heard, but I learned to deal with it. Sirens wailed in the distance, and caught my attention. I walked over to my window and looked outside-the sirens carried away towards the mansion down the street.…

Moving On Many people have a tendency to forget that poetry and music go hand in hand. They are both forms of expression and what one poem says can reflect a song playing on the radio. An example of this would be “Leaving the Island” by Linda Pastan and “It’s Time” written and performed by Imagine Dragons. The point that these two forms of expression are trying to convey is that life is a cycle. Change of scenery and growing up is bound to happen, whether the person experiencing the change is ready for it or not.…
