As I was fast asleep I heard someone breaking in! I jumped up and dashed from my bed to see a bunch of travelers in my cave, with my food. I ran at them attacking and eating some of the men. Then a man jumped on me tied me up and gouged out my eye. As I was screaming I said, “who is doing this!” The man told me nobody. I screamed “Nobody is gouging out my eye!” The men ran off leaving me alone, in total darkness. I screamed and stumbled across the ground! I felt my way to the water and heard the men go off into the distance.
Now i’m left here. How am I going to find food? Will I die? No, I refuse! Then I felt my way back to my cave. I was still shocked and terrified! My father will take care of them, I thought. I then felt my way to my boat and set sail for my father’s home. The sea was choppy. I couldn’t tell where I was going until my ship hit sand. I got on land and shouted for help. A few men came and shouted “away with thee beast!” but I pleaded. The men realized my cries were sincere and they came aboard my ship at a costly fee. We set sail for my father.
