“Praying” is Kesha’s first single in the time of about four years. This song tells the journey of Kesha, and her battle with depression. It’s much more than that though. However, she still wants this person to become better, and Kesha does feel empathy for him or her. Then, the chorus actually says the only way Kesha believes this person will be able to change or become better. This way is through spiritual change. In the chorus, Kesha tells this problematic, "you," that she really hopes he's "somewhere praying," and that his, "soul is changing," as he hopefully becomes a better person. Kesha wishes this person peace, but believes the only way this can happen is a greater
