Empathy Belly Research Paper

Wearing the empathy belly taught me that the during the last month of pregnancy, your belly is heavy because the baby is about the size it's going to be when it comes out. I couldn't take a deep breath, which emulates the baby pushing against your ribcage. It teaches students the hardships of pregnancy and how the baby affects your body. The belly made me feel like I was going to fall, but I didn't.

People looked at me when I walked by them, and it made me uncomfortable because I don't like people staring at me. Also, when I had to get it adjusted, the kids in the class stared at me and I feel like that is how people would react to an actual pregnant teen as well.
