Emotions Of Two Students: Jessica Rocha-Da Silva And William Yan

Decent Essays
Below are the reasons and emotions of two students, Jessica Rocha-Da Silva and William Yan, who would like to nominate Marietta for a staff award.

The first time I, Jessica Rocha-Da Silva, had met Marietta was back in first year. I had heard students, within my year, talk about her and how friendly she was. I decided to make an appointment with her and discuss a small problem I had about transferring courses. This was the best decision I made. The first couple of minutes in the appointment she was down-to-earth and her smile showed how much she enjoyed her job and helping students. The word-of-mouth came to be true, Marietta Canlas was very friendly and an amazing individual to converse with.

On September 25, 2015, I had an appointment set up with an academic advisor at the Heavener School of Business in 333 Heavener. In further detail, my advising appointment was at 1:30pm and with Leigh Smadbeck. Furthermore, the key points I wanted to discuss with my advisor were to map out my four year academic plan, consider what type of minors I should pursue, acquire additional information about the Masters of International Business program, and attain how the study abroad programs may be beneficial toward my academic career. Once I arrived and walked into Leigh’s office, I could tell she was concerned about my personal and professional development as well as seek additional resources to enhance my undergraduate experience.…

It is a great pleasure to recommend Rachel Sitasz for admission to the Edward Hospital Student Volunteer Program. She is one of the most empathetic, kind, and exceptional humans I have encountered in my 14 years of teaching. I teach Rachel in my 8th grade advanced ELA class. Her academics, character, innate curiosity, intrinsic motivation, ethical standards, and unwavering desire to give back, have put Rachel in a class of her own. In fact, for the first time in over 25+ years, the eighth-grade team created a brand new end-of-the-year award for our graduation awards assembly.…

Hello James! I really enjoyed reading your post and liked the way you have systematically summarized the article about managing emotions in medical school. I found this article a very interesting read, mainly because it gives us an insight to the way things work in a medical school and the hardships medical students go through in their course of study. Moreover, your example of dramaturgy in professions involving customer service is very relatable for me, since I also come from a profession that demands to place your customer/client first, at least in the front region to remain in face. I feel it is very natural for people in such professions to vent with their co-workers in the back region and laugh it off.…

Then I’ve erudite that RTI’s are identifying and supporting students with learning and/or behavior needs.…
