Reflection For Fahrenheit 451

As I continue to read the novel or group of short stories in the book Fahrenheit 451. I have mixed emotions about it because certain parts of the book still seems to be odd to me. The exposition of the book is set in place by describing the main character in the stories, Guy Montag who is a fireman that is hired to burn books of people who have in them in their possession because during this time books were against the law. And then by chance he met his neighbor Clarisse McClellan a young lady that some would call strange, however for the time being I choose to refer to her as unique. They are both afraid and knows what would happen if the books are found in their home. And even though Guy knows that he could be in serious trouble he still wants to get a better understanding of the books. And he enlist the help of an English Professor that he met a year ago in a park. This shows how desperate the he was for knowledge because he reached out to someone for help even though it would possibly endanger the person also. This is a true test of desire to where his will and outweighed the possible results. Guy seems to be a man of principal and he began to realize that there was a whole world of books that contains valuable information and he was going to find it out regardless of the consequences. The Denouement or resolution of the books happen in the story Burning Bright occurs when Guy’s boss order him to destroy his own house because his wife Mildred and her friends report him for having the books. This was the ultimate betrayal in his eyes, he tried to talk to her but she left and would not talk to him. So in light of feeling that he has no choice and he destroys his own home.
