My first personality island is aquatic island. Aquatic island is probably the most significant because a lot of my core memories come from being around the water. I started competitive swim team at age four and my love for the sport continued to progress until I was fourteen when I decided to moved, but me for the water had only begun. I have some many memories from swim team, everything from traveling to meets to intense practices. After I ended swim team, I found out I had a passion for crew. I participated in rowing through all of high school and loved every minute of being in a shell. In relationships, aquatic island taught me how to be independent, while also work with others to reach a common goal. It also reinforced the importance of hard work because relationships are not always easy. My second personality island is summer camp island because I also have a lot of core memories from my time at summer camp as a child. I have been attending the same summer camp since I was eight years old and have attended every summer since. At camp, I was given the opportunity to build lifelong friendships, explore the outdoors and build my confidence.
