It is true that emotional intelligence (EI) is a key component toward building trust between co-workers and business clients. By showing respect, being sensitive, and listening with compassion are some of the skills one can use to a build trustworthy relationship. EI competencies can raise the confidence in pursuing any type of accomplishment. Emotional intelligence is a much better predictor of success in nearly every area of life (Lamberton & Minor, 2014). An employee who understands and retains the knowledge of EI would likely be a valuable asset for the organization and would maintain good relationships with the co-workers. These people can easily work with anyone anywhere. I have seen people with low EI unable to hold their job positions
