Thus, the best way to get rid of environmental and individual issues is to eliminate time constraint problems by providing an athlete with time management skills and flexible schedules. Thus, schedule flexibility have to be implied into the institutions all over the world in order to create a comfortable environment for the athletes.
However, the problem of individual barriers which are not bounded to the time management in US colleges still requires a different solution. While psychologists have an essential impact on elite athletes, providing college athletes with such a support may result into minimizing the impact of every single barrier, and therefore, improving athletes’ academic and non-academic performance even more.
The last big problem which still lacks a rational solution is injuries, which puts a part of risk into a being a college athlete and heavily reduces the chances of getting a higher education for an athlete.
