There was high turnover of the staff and the residents were left unattended for longer hours which could be the reason for fall and bruises. Moreover, the residents did not have shower or bath for more than two to three days. This resulted in distress and worse skin condition among the residents. These are the signs of neglect. Besides, the reasons for bruises does not seem to be recorded.
