In the film City of God there is a few scenes where the film is trying to indicate an emotion of romance. The formal element that was used to make scenes more attaching is the use of sound. One scene that was put together well is the scene of where Shaggy first saw Bernice that he fell in love with. The scene was put together to capture the romance of two characters. Somethings that were put into the scene to make it better was the use of soft romance music added into the film. Whenever watching a film and soft romance music is played it’s most likely going to be someone seeing love at first sight and that is what happened to Shaggy. The reason why the scene was so touching was because it goes straight from action to a slow and loving scene.
