In Emma Hall’s article, she discusses the importance of diverse marketing groups coming together to form a coalition of better online ads to meet consumer’s needs. Since the rise of ad blocking is coming more prevalent in the internet world, programs such as Adblock Plus are in the process of selling creative ads to allow consumers the benefits of receiving ads that meet their expectation and avoid ads that do not acquire their interest. For example, I used to work in inside sales at a local newspaper agency where I sold both print and digital advertisement to customers. Our company used a third party marketing group to create quality ads for our customers and digital ads were used to drive more people into businesses via digital marketing.
