This quote was said by eminem “slim-shady” talking about how he was growing up in rough conditions to get where he is now. Eminem was born Marshall Bruce Mathers the third on october seventeenth 1972 in kansas city missouri, he goes by slim-shady, Doody, and M&M (Biography). His occupation is a rapper, film actor, and a music producer, he has worked with many groups before going solo (“Eminem” Newsmakers). Eminem overcame many adversities to become one of the most talented and successful rappers of all time due to his early life struggles, difficult family life, and his fight against a crowd that wasn’t ready to accept him into the hip-hop industry. …show more content…
Eminem was abandoned by his father when he was still an infant. His father rebuffed all to any contact with M&M. Marshall was raised by his mother, Deborah Mathers-Briggs. She couldn't keep a job for more than several months. Slim moved around to many different places and schools the places he moved to were Detroit, Michigan, Missouri, and project houses. Marshall had coped with the moves by writing lyrics to express himself, and what he was going through (“Eminem”). In every new school Slim went to he got bullied by the kids, they would beat him up in the bathrooms, hallways, and he got shoved into lockers. This was happening to him because he was new, he didn’t really have any close friends anywhere. When slim was seventeen he was going to Lincoln High School in Warren, Michigan.
