“I really can’t believe you would send your only child away!” I shriek the second my parents give me the chance to speak, “Jordan sweetheart, we’re worried about you is all.” My father says frowning slightly “I’m fine.” I seethed. “Honey you’ve become rather reckless. You’ve become so, so selfish with your life. You take too many things for granted and you need to fix it.” My mother says her tone makes me physically cringe. “I’ve never meet the Kingston’s before mom! I can’t just waltz up in their lives.” I state thinking I’ve had a valid point and my mother smirks, “Emily Kingston has been my best friend since before I can remember. I’ve never lived with any guy besides my dad and that didn’t count! These boys seem like spawns of Satan! To any outsider Carson sounded to be the trouble of it all, the eldest of the trio. “How have you lived with all those boys?” I asked curiously which made her laugh “I grew up with a large family of boys, I had nine older brothers.” She grins and my eyes nearly popped out of my head. “Nine brothers!?” I shrieked “And you live with twelve more?!” She laughed again “They’re not that bad.” She says “But for you it might be terrible. I mean you are an only child.” She chuckles.

That’s the very moment I realized this next year would probably be hell for me. I’m glad that I could have a pleasant conversation with Emily, a female I could take refuge with. Our conversations weren’t hard, I felt like I’ve known her for my entire life. My mother had told me I’d meet the Kingston’s when I was really young, Will was six and the trio and I were four.
