A third example correlating to Emerson's statement would minorities. For centuries, people of color have struggled through trials and tribulations to gain equal rights. African Americans, Latinos, and people of other minor races have managed to strive for the greatest accomplishments possible, ranging from George Washington Carver to Cesar Chavez to Simone Biles. A fourth and final example of self confidence within oneself is the disabled and mentally challenged community. Overall, this community of people in particular possess a big light within them.
