Emerging adulthood is the life span between adolescence and full adulthood. Emerging adults are people mostly between the ages of 18 to 25. College students that are in the enrollment period of college fall into the category of emerging adults. Transitioning from high school to a college environment can have a strong effect on college students and requires an overall change in a person. During this period of emerging adulthood, students develop cognitive, emotional, social, and physical development. The students are exposed to an unlimited amount of freedom which can be beneficial or a disaster. College students, being away from friends and family for the first time, are faced with making new friends, time management issues and other problems
