Common similarities were mainly due to family structure of both of them. They both grow up in low socioeconomic status which lead to started working at very early age. My grandmother said that school was not a priority in the family that it was seen more as an option. Education options were similar to my godfather because if he wanted to continue education, he had to do it in their own; his parents would not support him. Another similarity was that both interviewees had to work at an early age due to the conditions they were living in. It seems that during their era, education was not very emphasized by their parents. The most important similarity was that both of them felt they become adults when they had their first baby. Yet, there were some parts of the interview that made me think about my experiences as an emerging adult.
