The call was reported to Jackson County dispatch by an emergency room nurse currently on duty at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale via non-emergency telephone line.

I arrived on scene at 21:44 hours. I entered the emergency room and met with a nurse that led me to the victim’s room. I entered the room and introduced myself. The victim’s name is Danielle Marie Moser (F/W, DOB: 02/19/1995). Moser was the only occupant in the room. Moser stated her boyfriend, Tyrone R. Sealy (M/B, DOB: 01/02/1995), came with her to the hospital and was in the emergency waiting room.

Prior to entering Moser’s room, I inquired with the nurse if a sexual assault kit had been completed. The nurse advised, Moser had not agreed to one. The nurse stated the assault occurred on Monday, 10/12/2015, and Moser had showered since the assault.

Moser was concerned about having to remain present in a court room with the suspect and if she would have to testify in front of the suspect. Moser was concerned about what all her friends would think or believe because the suspect has already lied to her friends and placing the blame on her. Moser was worried about what this report would do to the suspect because he admitted to being suicidal after the
