The government in BraveNew World takes all measures to ensure thatthey have complete control over the stability within the community. They use soma to control the happiness of the citizens as adults ,but they begin to train them as infants. They condition them in order to control their demand for certain desires. "'And if you were an Epsilon',said Henry, ' your conditioning would have made you no less thankful that you weren't a Beta or an Alpha,'" is an example of the outcome of the training and condidtionng the people have undergone because of the government.

The citizens of Elysium are wealthy, happy, and unbothered until the people of Earth stopped at nothing to intervene. Thre isn't a personal relationship in between a person from each world, but the relationship lies within each of their desires. They each long for the same healthy and clean life; it was only a matter of who had the money to have that desirable life. There is also a relationship in bewteem the people of Earth and their environment. The people of Earth are poor and ill because of the polluted and overpopulated environment they've lived in.
The governments in Brave New World and Elysium focus on control. The author of Brave New World and the producer of Elysium both expand on multiple different relationships throughout their story. Because the governement governement control and relationships are both conveyed in both Brave New World and Elysium, they would both be an appropriate theme
