a. What is the name of your organization?
The name of the organization is Elwyn Mobile Crisis. Elwyn motto Is, Maximizing Protentional.
b. What are the mission and vision of the organization?
The mission and vision of Elwy Mobile Crisis is as stated: Our vision is to change the face of behavioral health services in Delaware County by providing Crisis Services that are recovery-oriented, trauma-informed, evidence-supported and community-integrated. This vision will be achieved as every member of our team contributes their passion and uniqueness toward the advancement of our greater good. We aim to create a program culture of shared social responsibility, support, communication, authenticity and hope.

c. What services or programs does the organization provide?
Mobile Crisis operates 24hrs and 7 days a week, accessible to Delaware County residents through the Office of Behavioral Health (OBH) and Mobile Dispatch Specialist. So, the services provide crisis interventions, assessments, brief counseling, referral and follow-up in any community location where an individual in crisis is located within Delaware County.
d. What is the administrative structure of the organization? (Provide an organizational chart if available).
The Director of Crisis directs the administrative and clinical operations of the Mobile Crisis Services program. With that being said he or she is in control of new programs, funding sources and stakeholders as well as keeping positive relationships with customers and staff. The Lead Supervisors are in coordination with the Director who also serves as a Masters level clinician. They are just as involved with the daily operations as much as the Director is with assistants of the Mobile Crisis team, they also are responsible for maintaining communication as well as education, networking and marketing activities. There are 35 staff members that work for Elwyn Mobile Crisis, they all either have a Bachelors, Masters in Social Worker, License Professional Counselor Degree.
3. Relationship to Environment
a. What niche does the organization or program fill in the community?
The niche that program fills in the community is that Mobile Crisis puts the individual in the community in crisis first, assisting individuals who are experiencing psychological stress to deescalate crisis situations, collaborating with individuals and their supports to aid them in getting voluntary evaluations to seek a higher level of care rather than involuntary. Offering support emotionally by utilizing warmline system.
b. Are there other organizations in the area, which also provide these same services?
We’re the only Mobile Crisis Agency that provides services in our area within our covered area with Delaware County.
c. What similarities and differences do you observe in the demographic composition (by age, race, income, gender, education, etc.) of the clients at the organization and the staff at the organization?
