Let’s talk about shopping. Most straight men, it has to be said, are not big on shopping. Most GBF, given half a chance, love to be lavish. Mark might not have the wherewithal to run up a flower bill the size of Elton John's, but you can bet he'll be available to browse the shops with you to your heart's content. Mark doesn’t even mind the eternal wait outside the changing room area (as most men do) while I deliberate over which outfit to buy.

Part of the reason my relationships with Mark is so much fun is it's the one time I'll get the chance to indulge in some harmless flirting at the Pub with no comeback or expectation on either side.
