Next there is a CFO, President & COO, CIO, propulsion CTO, and legal that make up the first network and answer to the board of directors but mainly Elon. Lastly, there is a functionalist second network that takes orders from the higher first network. The company is a private company that is in the aerospace industry. Products that the company have completed are the Falcon launch vehicles, dragon capsules, and ASDS landing platforms. Spacex offers to both private and public organizations, the capability to transport cargo and other objects to space. Notable cliental include OrbComm, the U.S. Air Force, and MDA corporation, this is only naming a few. Sometime in 2017 Boeing and Spacex plan on transporting astronauts to the International Space Station. All though this will be a huge leap for the Spacex it is very threatening to the company. Spacex uses a strategy for fueling their rockets after the astronauts have boarded instead of the fueling process happening before the astronauts board to increase safety. The threatening part of this is that if anything goes wrong during this flight with two living passengers on board, it could lead to a decrease in credibility in the company which will ultimately kill sales for the company and may dismantle the
