Elon Musk has dreamt of going to Mars for a long time, and one of the key elements in his operation is an extremely fast transportation system in our world. (Chambra, 2017). Before even beginning the construction of the Hyperloop, Elon has already dreamed incorporating the technology for the mars exploration. Elon Musk stated, “The Hyperloop would incorporate a series of pods travelling in an atmosphere close to an absolute vacuum.” (Chambra, 2017). Musk also plans to create a massive rocket and spaceship combination called the Interplanetary Transportation System. In addition, Loren Grush of the Verge states, “The current vision for the ITS, unveiled last year, is a rocket that can lift a ship carrying up to 100 colonists.” (Grush, 2017).
