The social worker has chosen the program Mind+Body organized by Girls Inc. as a prevention intervention to reduce Eloise’s risk for social isolation. Girls Inc. Mind+Body supports and promotes the whole health of girls ages 5/6 to 18, using a philosophy which recognizes that many factors, including physical and mental wellness, contribute to girls’ health (Girls Inc., 2015). The Mind+Body program has four focus areas, which are physical activity, body image, nutrition, and stress management. In the physical activity focus area Eloise will choose a physical activity that she enjoys. During this physical activity she will also interact with girls that have the same interests. The second focus area body image, which is where Eloise will be educated on the importance of self-esteem. She will be encouraged to appreciate her body image. In the third focus area Eloise will learn healthy eating
