It was a hot summer day when we went to visit our great grand-paw. It took two-hours to arrive at the Welfare Care for Elders Home so we got there at 2:05. As I got out I had to help my 4yr old sister then we went inside which looked different from last time when it was near Christmas. As we climbed the stairs I looked out of the window seeing a flourish garden and the landscape. We went inside great grand paws room and he looked better then last winter he was able to stand this time he got up from his armchair but my said he doesn't have to get up but he shooed her helping arm away and embraced my sister then me saying look how you grown then my mom chirped in saying “go easy hugging him.” “awe there find now wait a second a got a surprise

Some time later my dad came home and my mom served dinner which was chicken broth soup. After our meal I started to take dishes up but my dad said no that he has something to say. Once I sat down my dad started talking “Son you know how much me and my mom love you ,so for you to have a better life then here were sending you to America to your uncle and aunt. We bought a third class ticket and already pack your stuff and you will be leaving tomorrow to Marsala.” “Bought I want to stay with you and work on the pasture with you.”with tears of my …show more content…
Chestnut horses are my favorite horse, but soon I fell asleep. The next day we set of early and we ate a short breakfast and I hugged my mother bye and me and my father set of down the dirt rode during our travel we seen grape farms,orchards,and pastures. The smells range from sweet blossoming of a peonies to manure on a pasture. By late afternoon we reach the city and was on time to board Le Romano I said my farewell and hugged my dad bye I could see the tears glistening in his eyes. I boarded Le Romano and I was glad not to be steerage but third class was still bad at least I had a bed then sleep on the floor immediately when I got to the third floor right above steerage I could smell the old vomit and decayed food bits and number two. I could also see where the sailors did a half job cleaning up at least the pirates kept there ship clean. During the first 30miniutes a bunch of people started vomiting including the guy under me I was glad that I was on top bunk during the whole trip people where playing cards,instruments,practicing for being interviewed,practicing English which helped me learn the basics,singing,dancing,and of course vomiting. I played joined a gambling game one time with my 2 lira and actually ended up with 5 lira and 1rubble from an Russian man after that I left and
