The Puppy Episode
1. INTRODUCTION
A. Attention getter/ hook" - Everyone love puppies, and everybody has problems, and even though puppies can solve a lot of our problems, this was not the case for Ellen. In 1997 Ellen DeGeneres decided to come out as Lesbian in her sitcom "Ellen". In the show Ellen had struggled for years with relationships. When the writers presented the idea to the executive of the show, he said: she is not going to come out, just give her a puppy. But she did.
B. CONNECTION: Common ground - After this, Ellen's career went to the ground. Everybody has had struggles in life, no one is perfect and each of us have our own problems. This is what Ellen is constantly highlight and approaching with nothing, but kindness and positive

C. Main point/topic#3 - Ellen is kind and constantly giving back.
a. She takes the time to help those in need. According to Aplus (2018) she donated $25,000 to red cross in the wake of hurricane Harvey and another $25,000 to ensure the safety of animals.
b. She doesn't forget from where she come from.
c. Finishes her show saying, be kind to one another.
III. CONCLUSION
A. Prepare audience for ending - I admire Ellen because she is courageous, inspirational, thoughtful and kind.
B. Restatement/Summarization of main points - Ellen has had a big impact on the gender community, she has inspired people all over the globe and has done all of this without ever forgetting to be kind.
C. Restate thesis: I admire Ellen DeGeneres because of her influence on gender and society.
D. Motivation (ACTION)- I invite all of you to think of your problems and, reflect how can you make them better. Not only for you but to everybody that is in this same situation.
