A lot of people do not know but movies often gives its audience the opportunity to escape the daily stresses of life, but they also can spread a poignant message to wide audiences. The film Legally Blonde comes to my mind on capturing both qualities. The heroine of the story is Elle Woods, a pink-clad, Chihuahua-carrying girl from a privileged background, who seems ditzy, dumb, unfocused, and blonde. She showcases that there is more than meets the eye and that if people are given the opportunity that they can be more than you thought they could be. I choose to get a degree in Political Science. After I gradate from the Illustrious Savannah State University, I will use my degree to do the same thing Elle Woods did. No, I do not plan on attending Harvard, but I do plan on attending a Law School in Georgia. I have four law schools in mind, and with my degree I will get accepted into one of the four school that way I can pursue my dream of becoming a lawyer. A Political Science degree can get you pretty much any job in the teaching field, legal field, business field, and in government. I hope to get a job in the legal field as a lawyer after law school, but what if it doesn’t work out? What’s my next move? So many people get degrees in one thing and decide they don’t want to do that anymore and they don’t have a backup plan. So many people goal is Plan A, but they forget to have a Plan B. The good thing about my degree is that it is multifaceted. If becoming a lawyer doesn’t work out for me, my degree has a foundation of other opportunities for me. My goal, which will not be easy but anything worth pursuing want be easy, is to become a Criminal Defense Lawyer and this Political Science Degree will be the first step in reaching my goal. After this bachelor’s degree is obtained, my next step is getting into Law
