Elizabeth's Rhiannon-Personal Narrative

When I look back to this infamous day in the sixth grade, there are two things I remember the most. One is the sound that reverberated through the halls. The second, the crushing guilt I was left with. Even though the day started out like any other it didn’t end that way. I was collecting books from my locker when I saw my friend, Rhiannon, talking to Jackie, who she supposedly couldn’t stand. I turned back to my locker, confused. Suddenly, I heard my name. I whirled around, expecting Rhiannon to talk to me, but she was completely unaware that I was there. Still having trouble?” inquired Jackie, mockingly. “I think I need to rethink my plan. It’s not working and I don’t know why,” pouted Rhiannon. They walked away, while I stood dumbstruck. At the end of the day, Rhiannon came up to me, oblivious to the fact I had been avoiding her all day. “Hey, can you believe that we have to do that whole packet for math?” whined Rhiannon. “Hey,” I muttered, ignoring her previous question. She stared at me, not expecting my sudden coldness. “Well?” she prompted. “Wouldn’t you rather talk about your revenge?” I asked in a false sugary tone. Slowly her fake smile slipped off her face. She quickly recovered, letting out a strained laugh. “What do you mean?” she asked, nervously playing with her hair. I continued to state, until she broke. “You were useless anyway,” she said with false indifference. “Really?” I asked and turned to walk away. The next thing that came out of her mouth I cannot repeat. I stood there for a minute, then I said, “That’s nice,” and started walking. “You know, I never liked you anyway!” she yelled after me, trying to keep up. “Okay,” I said without emotion. “You and your friends are crazy!” she shouted, even louder than
