Elizabeth's Response To Her Activities In The Shelter

. Elizabeth answered that she was at # 8 she said that she is getting bored of being in the shelter, that she needs to have more fun. She reported that the daily routine is too constrictive and that they need to go out more often or at least have more interesting activities in the shelter. o The counselor assessed Elizabeth’s progress made on treatment plan goals by using the Solution Focus Scale (1 through 10) and minor reported that she was at # 7. She reported that she is sleeping a lot better nightmares are really rare now, but sometimes if she awakens during the night she gets afraid. o The counselor utilized empathy, active listening, and positive regard. o Elizabeth brought into the session the letter she wrote to her father/abuser and was able to read at loud to the counselor. Elizabeth expressed her hurt, fear, and anger in it. The counselor and Elizabeth process the letter and examined her thoughts and feelings about it.
