The reason people started accusing Woodville of witchcraft is because of the Cobham case. The Cobham case was about a lady named Eleanor Cobham who married Humphrey, Duke of Gloucester fall for her and marry her. In 1441 she was arrested and accused of using potions to make Gloucester fall in love with her. The potions were Supposedly supplied by Margery Jourdemayne the “Witch of eye”, Margery lived in Eye which was next to Westminster.
