About 260 years after the Salem witch trials took place Arthur Miller wrote The Crucible, a play that was based off of the Salem witch trials. In the play young girls are thought to be associated with witchcraft, however the girls start to accuse others in the town choosing people that they or their family's dislike. Elizabeth Proctor is one of the people to be accused. During that time she changes quite a lot. In the beginning she is much more truthful, but after lots of pain and humiliation Elizabeth Proctor changes quite a lot.
