Many people have to be sick to request their blood be tested, but Theranos gives everyone an opportunity to check their health frequently. Theranos is now an extremely successful company, and Holmes has been made a billionaire from it. Theranos has cut medical cost in an enormous cut, it has made a contract with Walgreen stores to provide more services accessible to everyone(Loria and Friedman, 2015). It really intrigues me that her innovation is engineer orientated, with a background of health and chemistry which makes me see her as a chemical engineer.
