The Blackwell’s decided to move to the United States. The very first place they moved to was New York, and the family had stayed there for a while. After living in New York for a while, the family moved to Cincinnati, Ohio. Samuel had died the very same year they moved to Ohio. He died from biliary fever which is a disease from a tick bite. One of her biggest problems was being bullied and picked on by others, because she was a lady. None of the negative thoughts made her give up. She held her head up high and became very successful despite what other people said or thought. Elizabeth was a great leader. She led many women down the right path. She helped many women become successful. She helped many; many women which helped pave the way for many different fields, because once she started her own business, many jobs started growing.
