This very open and loving style of parenting helped Elisabetta find a very strong sense of self. While others might have mocked her as odd, she reveled in the fact that she was encouraged to truly be herself. In high school, people tried to bully her, but her happy ways prevented them from getting her down. She always seemed to radiate positivity. Eventually people gave up trying to bully her and embraced her unique sense of style. Most kids in her high school had a set “group”. Jocks, nerds, cool kids, and so on. She dabbled in all the groups having at least a few friends in each. Although people often hailed her as innocent, she often times got in trouble for giving people haircuts in the bathroom. With the financial and emotional support of her family, she moved to Milan to try her hand at hair and makeup. She ended up enrolled in the Academy Stefano Anselmo. She made friends who were almost as unique as she. During her second and final year of school, she realized, although she loved doing hair and makeup, she didn’t want it for a career.
