Elie Wiesel's Halloween Night

Once upon a time there lived a little girl and boy named Sophie and Eli. They were very excited, because that night was Halloween night. Sophie and Eli had a pretty hard time paying attention in class that day, so when the teacher asked Sophie “ What is the square root of four” she had no idea what the teacher was talking about! Same with Eli, but once school was out they couldn’t help but scream on the ride home. Before long they arrived home shoved their costumes on before their mom could even say hi. Sophie was Dorothy from the wizard of oz and Eli was hosmer from the royals. They thought they were about to have the time of their lives. Once their mom and dad were ready they went off to go trick or treating “mom mom mom can we please go to that house?” Sophie asked.
