Ellie had many hard times in his young life and he would have never been able to survive if it wasn't for his dad with him . Elie was forced to work long hours and then return to the camp for a scarce amount of bread and soup then he had to sleep in a tight little box . All of this he says he only remembers and he knows he survived all this because his father was with him every step of the way (Wiesel 2) . “We talked a lot to each other, especially in the evenings, but never of death”(Wiesel 2) . The things he went threw in the camp were unimaginable . The way he was able to come back and change his life the way he did was truly spectacular . Many holocaust survivors were too afraid and scared to say anything others needed special therapy for the things they saw . Ellie so easily came and he fought for holocaust remembrance he gave speeches that people remember to this day and most importantly he was able to tell the world about his experience . No one will ever forget about the holocaust the impact Elie Wiesel did to the world
